What simple, little things do you do for future you? I remember when I was in middle school, whenever I had a little extra time I’d look ahead at my homework and try to chip away at some of it. I’d think to myself “you’re welcome, future Maura—you’re going to be so happy to have that checked off!” Now that I’m responsible for multiple human beings, not just my future self, little joys like this have fallen by the wayside.
